The American Flag is a Sigil

Ev'ry heart beats true 'neath the Red, White and Blue.

While I intend to do my best to avoid speaking of current events or politics, some aspects of American history do need to be explored and properly understood.  I decided to write about this subject because a friend of mine who is awake was unaware of the actual meaning behind the American Flag, and I suspect his blind spot here is common among our type.
